Rain scatter propagation has been good over the last few days. Was able to hear both GB3FNY and GB3LEX on 3cm by pointing the antenna at the rain falling to the south of me.

Joking aside, I did see a picture of a modified Microwave oven with waveguide through the door!

They are on 2.4GHz, so only just in the 'microwave' bands.

Tried the bag ...the box gets real hot and shuts down.Maybe i need a longer extension lead and take it outside.

I can't here owt with the antenna in the box and the door shut ,I press the ptt and sparks come off the elements ???
